Most memories are created by a group of people. Family gatherings, weddings, parties, concerts and sport events, these are the common scenarios in which people get bonded with each other. The need to link and share the collective memories is simple and real, but the existing solution is far from ideal. After the event, all the precious memories were scattered among everyone’s phones. All the thoughts, feelings and emotions are fragmented on everyone’s social media. It was really tiring to gather all of them.

All the challenges; all the staying-up-late together to work on projects; all the jokes we laughed at so hard that got us stomachaches; all those stupid stuffs that we’ve done together. Thank you all for making my school life amazing. Life brought us all here, my friends, and now it’s time to say goodbye.

Wireframe and flowchart are good tools to try out new ideas and make sure all the team members reach consensus. We all make mistakes, but fail fast could save our time.

With our algorithm using the factors such as time and location, DIITU automatically aggregate the collective memories. All the related moments are linked together. Now you won't miss a thing.

Besides collecting the moments you cherish, each community wall is like a small world in your palm. You can stay in touch with all the things you love and communicate with people who share the same interest with you. Last but not least, you can always discover and explore something new and get inspired.

Wall is also a perfect place for brands to tell their stories. Sorting by backdate, my favorite feature, helps to organize the story by time.

The bottle design and campaign of CHANEL No. 5 perfume differ from time to time. All the information is fragmented on the Internet. With this special feature, you can view the whole history and evolution of CHANEL No. 5.

Besides iOS and android app, DIITU also had a lighter website verison which allows guest visitors to explore DIITU before signing up.

After being admitted to Institute of Applied Art in NCTU, I got a few months before the new semester begins. That was when I joined a startup team called DIITU. Since then I was the only designer in the team until 2015.

Working in startup team was no doubt the most unforgettable experience in my life. Even there were only five members in our team and the resources were so limited, we made the most of it and created our greatest value. The passion and thrill that comes with challenges are very addicted. Moreover, I was free to express my opinion and all of my works made a real difference in business.

The experience of joining a startup team really makes me stand out among my classmates. It provides me a broader horizon and makes me see things with different perspective. Moreover, with the experience of actually being on the “battlefield”, I know how to make my works done for real, not just baby talks.

It was an unforgettable experience for me to go to Beijing with all of the team to attend TechCrunch Beijing 2014. We made it to the top 5 of the startup competition and made so many friends for not only business but also life. Visiting potential clients and medias in this 7-day nonstop journey, the best part for me was to see and experience the life and culture of China.

Working remotely inside of a startup, the key is collaboration. We are not afraid of new stuffs. Always embrace the latest tools as long as they help. There are several apps that help us work fluently togetherm such as Slack for online discussion and Trello for tasks management. As a designer, cooperating with research developers plays the most crucial part in multi-disciplinary collabortion. We use Invision for prototyping and Zeplin for all the UI measurement and design specs.
